about klove
our philosophy
At klove Studio our journey began with an open exploration of materials, metal, wood, stone, fabric each offering its own language of expression. But it was glass that truly captured our imagination. We were drawn to its malleability, its ability to hold both form and fragility, and most of all, how it transformed completely when paired with light.
This relationship between glass and light became the heart of our design story giving rise to sculptural lighting and installations that blur the boundaries between art, function, and experience. What started as a creative pursuit evolved into a deeper purpose. To revive the traditional art of glassblowing in India and reimagine it for the contemporary world.
Today, klove is rooted in rich traditions, culture, and architecture of India. We embrace slow design, artisanal craftsmanship, and the essence of handmade work. Every piece is created in collaboration with skilled Indian glassblowers, keeping alive ancient techniques while pushing creative boundaries. We work almost exclusively with handblown glass a practice that dates back centuries and use it to create large-scale, immersive installations that bring light to life in unexpected ways.
We draw inspiration from cultures around the world and the abundant beauty of nature, translating those influences into unique forms that feel both timeless and new. The beauty of klove lies in its ability to take the shape of whatever the mind imagines and each piece is a testament to that belief.
As we continue to grow, we remain grounded in our love for material, our respect for craft, and our commitment to creating spaces that feel as extraordinary as the light within them.
